Our topic this half term is “Dinosaurs”, a very popular topic with the whole class.  We try to link most lessons with a dinosaur theme and the children have already shown lots of enthusiasm for finding out dinosaur information.

Year 2 trip to Jerusalem Farm.

 

We shall be visiting Jerusalem Farm on Tuesday 22nd September to link with our topic “If You Go Down To The Woods Today…”  We will be going on a mini-beast hunt which should be successful if the weather is wet!  We shall be going on the bus and walking from the bus stop to the site so could you make sure your child has a waterproof coat and wellies or waterproof shoes on the day.

 

 

Nature Walk

We have already been on a woodland walk through our nature trail and have found lots of different animals and their habitats including a frog hiding under a rotting log.
